Spanks: Amen!

Sirbest came to church! Yay for him =D welcome back! Met Phyllis on the way to church. well service was great. but i kinda dossed off during sermon.. i gotta sleep early on saturdays now.. this is bad... =( sorry God! I pray that you give me dicipline to sleep early! =D well after service went to the super crowded food court and met Big Pam =D but we didnt wanna eat but we thought of buying drinks and boy was the que long.. so we left in the end.. haha! went over to the cafeteria to sit down. We played some games.. Hillarious! first it was the same card game. every one has to flip open their top card each turn and if your cards number is the same as anyone whoose card is flipped, you have to shout the other persons name! its to test your reflexes. haha! had a fun time laughing and playing. Next was the Set game. 6 sets of 4 cards meaning Diamond, Club, Hearts and the Spade of a number is one complete set. so they were shuffled up and we were each given four cards. Take one of the 4 which you want to discard and pass it to the person on the left. whoever gets a full set must take one of the 5 pens in the middle of the table. after this person takes the pen, the rest have to quickly grab one to save your arm from getting decorated with ink =D there will be one person who would not get the pen. hahah!! Abby, Stella and I got drawn once and Sirbest Twice! Big Pam and Phyllis never got drawn. hahah! well it was really a great day and we all shared our testimonies and stuff. so after that Stella had to go have lunch with her mom. so Abby, Sirbest, Phyllis and I went to the AirPort for lunch.. Had Popeye's Chicken and Biscuit for lunch.. it was expensive and not that nice.. just satisfactory.. lol then 'Shawn' came over to join us. hahaha!!! well doesn't have a english name so Abby saw that his face was someone with a name starting with S so she called him Shawn so now we all call him Shawn. hahaha!! well we totally slacked at T3. I went to the toilet which has the super cool toilet bowl.. instead of normal flushing down, there's this big vaccum thing that sucks whatever is inside into it. well its rather loud and annoying but its so cool.. especially when you're not done, and it starts to "flush". its really windy.. LOL. Then there was this little cute boy who was so friendly that when his family walked passed us where we were sitting, he waved to us! he was sooo cute =D we all were waving back to him and smiling at him. such an adorable kid =D and his waving style is just so unique! CUTE!! =D hahaha! yea so after all the laughing and chatting and slacking, we headed back to expo as Abby, Phyllis and Shawn had Chingay Practice. so Sirbest and I hanged around in hall 9 for awhile and then we went to visit Sitex, the IT fair.. well I have to say that its much more worse than ChinaTown during ChineseNewYear.. whoa the Human Jam and all that squeezing.. well we got a little Jelous as we saw people carrying iMacs and MacBooks home =( oh well we'll just have to wait till next year wont we =D TIME TO SAVE MONEY!! hahah! headed home after that.. it was soo crowded.. not as bad as the morning rush though.. hahaha. Going out with the Fam guys tomorrow I guess. its QH's Birthday! Happy Birthday in advance =D It was and awesome day today. Tomorrow will be better!

Well what Big Pam shared today was really applicable to ALL of us I think. regarding the results and stuff. Jeremiah 29:11 was the verse she gave. ["For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."] This verse gave me so much conviction that God will pull you through if you trust in him, so do not fear for your N level results but put your trust in him.
Well you should realise by now that you were not placed in your mother's womb by accident, nor were you placed in your school now by the circumstances of the world. for it is God who has planned all these for you. your family members, your friends around you. if you look on your life and think that it sucks big time, peer pressure and stuff like that. And you some how join "gangs" because your "good" friends ask you to or you smoke just cause they tell you to, dont blame God that HE has planned THIS for you. For it is YOU who have gone astrayed and end up with the life you have now that you think sucks. It is because you didn't walk right with God but live of the ways of the world and thus you blame him for not pouring out his blessings to you. then you are wrong for in the verse above says that he does not want to harm you but prosper you. so take it as a wake up call. Think of all the stuff that is happening around you. Cursing and Swearing everywhere. do you think its nice? is it really that "pleasent" to your ears? Why are such things even existing in the world? For it is of the Devil and not of God. So think twice when you want to scold a vulgarity or swear at someone.
