Life.

Okay so it was english oral today. I wouldnt say Im very confident about it but Im just gonna give it up to God. Went to amk hub after that to meet Cheryl and Anna. Slacked around, ate ice cream and walked around. Headed to DB after that to meet Em. Went to the new Orchard Central building. It was well done up. Nice, classy, cosy place. Saw the iStudio there. Everything Apple. Saw Skullcandy Head phones there too. So we had our little chit chat session. Then Em shared about the band he's starting with Uncle Keith (from last year) and with the connections that he has. Got me and Best pumped up. But it is definitely a BIG jump for us if we were to go head on into this industry. I mean its not stable and its risky. But first we gotta know what God's plan is for us, if not no matter how hard we try we just wont get it. So we'll be seeking God first. Then each and everyone of our commitment into this. And lastly to know where we stand. I admit that we aren't that fabulous because I know that there are better talents out there. But like what Em said, firstly God's will. If it is God's will that we go into this, Im sure He will path the way for us. Secondly, commitment. Its only possible if we, as a band, all head in the same direction with that passion to go all out for God. I mean, our mission is to reach out to this generation. So ultimately its up to God who will/has decide/d. So into your hands, I commit.

Well as I was in the car home, Dad received news of a friend who's wife just passed away due to a rupture in the aorta during an operation. I cant help but put myself into his friend's shoes. Your wife, whoom you would love so much and never want to leave, just leaves you in an instant. Then I thought about his kids, if he had any. One day your mom's here and the next, she's gone. This tells me how short life is. Anything can happen. I just pray that God would heal the broken heart of this man and just show him that God's love is still there and is everlasting. To you guys who are reading this, if I know you or not, I just wanna say I love you. God has a plan and purpose for all of us so lets just live up to that.

Hey there! time for an update! So 'O' Level English Oral for me is like this Thursday. Pretty nervous but I guess it'll be fine. Hah! And there's prelim 2 papers coming up too. Then there is the Finals!! See Here! So exciting!! And in 3 more months all will be over. KOREA AT THE END OF THE YEAR!! HOORAY!! just another 3 more months of endurance!! Well, going off to bed now. If not I'll end up sleeping in Mrs Pow's class again. Gnight and bye world.

Today is a gift? Or so they say.

Hey there. Its one tiring day today. Had school as usual. Waited for Best to finish his SS retest. Was delayed. But cant be helped. Mdm Loo has to mark so many scripts. Headed down to DB in a rush to get the line6 thingy. Man its 300 bucks baby. Ain't cheap. Well its a worthy investment. Recording at its easiest =) After that, cabbed down to Woodlands for tuition. Had dinner at Abby's place. 2nd time and it gets better. Home-cooked food is the best. Sad case I don't get to eat it very often in my own home. Oh well. Eating it once in awhile makes you appreciate it more. =) Came home and read SS notes on Bonding Singapore. Boring topic... Played bass till now. Going to sleep soon. Thanks Best for lending me the adaptor. Man, playing was never this fun and clear. HAHA! Okay off to bed. Night world.

Can I wait forever?

Went to attend Auntie Siew Khee and Uncle Alvin's wedding today. So nice! and funny. hahah! after that ate a little at the reception and then headed off to United Square. Parents will be attending the dinner so I guess I'll be crashing at Teacher Lynn's place with the kids. Bought a new laser printer and a laptop at United Square just now. Using the new laptop now. Haha! Its cool! Sharing it with Mom. Well I'll be the one who's gonna use it the most anyway. HAHA! The proccession going on opposite my house is going to be so annoying. Arrggh!! They are currently preparing for the Ge-Tai and practicing a little. And then there is the auction thingy where they go "Zup kor ($10)! Zup kor lai! Pueh (8) Pueh Pueh!! HUAT AH!!" LOL. Night class has been so energy draining. I finaly got to start my own revision TODAY! =.= thats because all I've been doing the past few classes was nothing but homework. But seriously. Thank God for providing opportunities like the availability of the Chapel basement so we can have practice there right after school instead of rushing down to a jamming studio. Thank God for placing none of the prelim papers on the dates of the competition and also for it to be on that one week holiday. =) Well all the best to the practice and the song choice, Desert Song! =) Going off to bed now. School was cool. Got back SS test and I dont need to re-test! thank God for that! =) Haircut after school and then slack in the library then dinner then night class. Mr Lau today. Came home and played FIFA 09 on the psp. LOL. We got into the finals of Destiny as well! Its really God at work. Cause for us, we knew ourselves that if we got in, it would be God's will. Cause we didn't really perform up to standard. So THANK YOU GOD! =DD Here's a chorus of a song Be Like That by 3 Doors Down that I found pretty meaningful.

I am afraid. I admit. I am very afraid. And I know very well that I might just regret for the rest of my life. But I am prepared. Prepared to allow someone other than myself to share what God has already blessed me with. I am prepared.

Had National Day Celebrations on Friday. Was kinda interesting. Went home with Kenneth (as in he came over) cause he was lazy to go home. Looking up for movie timings was the first thing I did. Looked them up till we were late. Catched GI. JOE. Not a bad movie. Quite interesting and futuristic. haha! I think Rachel Nichols is prettier. Haha! Oh well. Went to Singapore Indoor Stadium for Day Of His Power! It was awesome. Made me take on a different angle to look at my country. My Home. =). Had midnight KFC with the 2 guys. So tired and late. Cabbed home. Woke up early the next day for Alpha weekend! Met Best, Wj and Darren at amk mrt and went down to MOC for the first sessions. Headed to Salvation army after that and yeah. Mom was there too! hahah what a surprise! Had sessions and then slacked. Talk with the peeps late at night downstairs. Had a good time. Woke up today for some awesome breakfast. Dinner last night was great too! Thanks Evelynn for the food and those who helped! =) then had service today. Different perspective of Gods word to His people today. The emphasis of Gods standards. Great sermon. Then headed to MOC again for the last lesson and we went to watch UP. Quite entertaining and interesting dispite the tired-ness. Headed down to Teacher Lynn's place for awesome BBQ. Sambal sotong, Scallops and Beef were GREAT! Good stuff. Gonna read my Bible now and head off to bed. Nights!

Reflection.

Okay time to reflect upon some things. What mom said on wednessday was rather straight forward and in-the-face but it was neccessary. Thats what woke us up. Thanks mom. If not for her stepping up to take leadership and to draw the line, I dont know where we'd end up. Though there are different ways of looking at things, the best way is through some else. In this case of course. Well apart from that, night class has been rather tiring. Finaly a long break (3 day). Its the national day celebrations tomorrow. Hope its entertaining. Haha. Its the birthday celebration after that. And then "Day Of His Power." prayer meeting! Hope it's gonna be exciting! I guess I did pretty okay for the recent prelims, but its no excuse to relax and slacken. So press on!!!

The Weekend.

Hey there. The Auditions didnt really go as we planned. But fret not, its all in God's hands. If it is His will that we make it through, we will. If it is His will that we will not, we will gladly abide. Fridays was Fun. Happy Birthday Don =). Great Lemonlicous day. hahaha! Had fun with Don, Darren, Jun Fei, Davis, Zhi Hao, Sirbest, Jia hao, Nicholas, Andy and Xue Li. Oh and assembly was even more hillarious! We counted the number of 'alrights' being said. It was tonnes of fun. 241 if Im not wrong. HAHA! Absoloutely hillarious. Saturday was spent with parents & God sis. Pavarne's house after that. And today church and alpha. The camps this week! =) I bet it'll be fun!

Sermon was great. Opening our eyes. Big Pam sharing was awesome too. Who do I see? A Leader. Time to step up and be one! Gesture's, Tonality and Words. Really important and essential learning points. Thanks Big Pam! =)
